Short answer
TallyPrime is installed accounting software that many Indian accountants rely on for books and GST. Agency Cloud is not a replacement for that. It is where an agency runs its day: invoices and payment reminders, leads and signed proposals, attendance, leave and payroll, in the browser for the whole team. Many businesses keep Tally with their accountant and run operations in Agency Cloud.

Should I replace Tally or use Agency Cloud with it?
If your accountant files your GST returns from Tally, keep it. Use Agency Cloud for the things your team does every day, and send your accountant the income, expenses and tax summary reports each month as CSV or PDF.
If you only used Tally to make invoices, Agency Cloud can take that over completely, with branded PDFs, email delivery and reminders.
When TallyPrime is the better choice
- You need full accounting, GST return filing and inventory in one installed program.
- Your accountant works only in Tally and wants every entry there.

Can my accountant get data out of Agency Cloud?
Yes. Reports for income, expenses, profit and loss and tax summary export to CSV and PDF, and the owner can export all company data as CSV files.
Does Agency Cloud work offline?
No. It runs in the browser and needs an internet connection.
